Filing Marks the Beginning of a Movement in Kentucky’s Fourth District

John Waltz made his movement official by filing for his candidacy today in order to reclaim Kentucky’s Fourth District for the people. During these difficult times, it is imperative that we have progressive leaders who will stand up and fight for Kentuckians to get our nation back on its feet.

For too long, the needs of Kentuckians in our district have been put on the shelf due to ideological and political posturing. It is time to set aside obstructionism for real solutions to get Kentuckians back to work, improve our educational system, and fight for government reform and transparency. Waltz had this to say about his decision to run for Congress:

“Today marks a momentous day whereby we stand at the crossroads of progress and prosperity with the power in our hands to get Kentucky’s fourth moving again. The uncommon times we find our nation is a direct reflection of eight years of failed policies that Geoff Davis still advocates for to this day. It is time to put aside poisonous rhetoric and politics as usual in order to find workable solutions that will help us realize a more prosperous future.
